Sicamous community meeting to address landslide risk after wildfire in Two Mile area

Meeting scheduled for Monday December 13 at 6 p.m.

A meeting to discuss landslide risks will be held at the Red Barn Arts Center in Sicamous on Monday, December 13.

At 6 p.m. on that date, the Sicamous and Shuswap District Emergency Program (SEP) will use the space to host a community meeting on the topic of landslide risk after a forest fire in the Two region. Mile.

In-person participation is limited to 50 people and priority will be given to residents of Two Mile. The meeting will also be broadcast live and recorded on Zoom; audience members in person and online will have the opportunity to get their questions answered.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and wearing a mask is compulsory.
