Pioneer Community Energy Hosts Community Meeting

(PLACEVILLE, CA) – Pioneer Community Energy (Pioneer) will host a community meeting for El Dorado County to present information about Pioneer and answer questions on November 2 from 6-7:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held both in person and via Zoom. The in-person meeting will be held at the El Dorado County Government Center, 330 Fair Lane, Placerville, in the boardrooms of the Board of Supervisors. Options for joining the meeting remotely are below.

Pioneer is a nonprofit community agency that serves the unincorporated counties of Placer and El Dorado, as well as the incorporated areas of Auburn, Colfax, Lincoln, Loomis, Placerville, and Rocklin. Pioneer currently serves more than 93,300 residential and commercial accounts and will begin serving the 68,000 accounts in the unincorporated county of El Dorado and Placerville in January 2022. Pioneer was established to provide electricity generation at tariffs stable, while offering programs that provide economic and labor benefits to the local community.
