NDIS Partners in the Community Program Tender

The Australian Government has committed to presenting a planned independent review of the design, operations and sustainability of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including the Partners in the Community (PITC) programme.

With this in mind, and after consultation with the government and stakeholders, the NDIA has terminated the PITC program tender to ensure that the future PITC program is consistent with the findings of the review and is taken into account in the context of broader consultations.

The NDIA will re-examine the design of the PITC program in accordance with the recommendations of the review, the results of current co-design initiatives, and community consultation to meet the changing needs of participants, clients, families, and caregivers.

The Agency remains committed to the continuation of early childhood and territory coordination services. Current arrangements with partners and funded supports in participant plans remain in place and there are no changes to the current operations of the NDIS.

The NDIA thanks all bidders for their submissions to the PITC program tender and acknowledges the time, commitment and preparation required.
