The project is a partnership with the city of Alexandria.

The project is a level of Communicate commitment as it addresses maintenance of the Four Mile Run creek bed which is required by the Army Corps of Engineers, will help reduce the risk of flooding along the tributary of Long Branch and will not materially alter the facilities, programs or services. provided to the community. The project will disrupt access and parking to a small part of Troy Park, but this work will be completed within a month.
