Courageous Conversations Community Program – Ottawa Redblacks

The Ottawa REDBLACKS joins schools to discuss issues related to diversity, racism and inclusion.

Attention teachers! Now is your chance to participate in the Ottawa Redblacks Courageous Conversations Program!

Students in grades 6-8 will engage in engaging conversations about diversity, racism and inclusion with Ottawa Redblacks players, coaches and other athletes. We are all blessed to work, live, and learn in a rich and diverse community, and this program will allow students to discuss today’s most important topics with a diverse panel of athletes.

This free program will be conducted virtually at present, with plans to move to in-person panels in the future. Each session lasts approximately one hour but can be adapted to your school’s schedule. This program is interactive, students can participate and ask questions.

We just had a Courageous Conversations presentation here for our 7/8 group and it was very powerful. It was a fantastic presentation and the students were very engaged. Vice Principal of Sacred Heart HS (February 2022).
