Sciarappa Street, between Charles Street and Winter Street, should be the subject of an upcoming street and sidewalk reconstruction as part of the city’s five-year plan.
The Public Works Department and the City’s Community Development Department will hold a virtual community meeting on Tuesday December 7 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. discuss the Sciarappa Street reconstruction project.
You can register in advance for the meeting via this link:
The objective of this meeting will be to hear the concerns of the neighbors and to provide information on the options for the street. The project is part of the City’s Complete Streets initiative to design and operate safe streets for all users, including pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and transit users. We encourage you to attend, as we appreciate the feedback we receive from Cambridge residents and businesses.
The presentation will be posted ahead of the Monday December 6 meeting on the project page: https://www.cambridgema.gov/Departments/publicworks/cityprojects/2021/sciarappastreconstructionproject. For those who wish to submit questions in advance, they can be sent to [email protected] Questions can also be submitted during the live question-and-answer portion of the meeting on Tuesday, December 7 at 6:00 p.m.
