The public is invited to participate in a virtual community meeting to discuss the City’s draft comprehensive street plan. The meeting will take place on December 6 at 1:00 p.m., with Dr. Sukhsimranjit Singh as facilitator. Singh has previously hosted meetings for the city’s rent stabilization program.

The Comprehensive Street Plan Project is a mobility policy plan that includes a comprehensive analysis of pedestrian, cycle, road networks and emerging transportation modes and technologies. Once finalized, it will provide a council-approved work plan for transport planning projects to improve mobility, prepare for emerging technologies, prioritize first/last mile improvements to the Metro Purple Line and to increase eligibility for subsidies.

The City released the current version of the draft comprehensive street plan for public review in November 2019. Since then, the Traffic and Parking Commission has discussed the draft plan at a special/town hall meeting on December 3, 2019 A second community meeting scheduled for early 2020 has been postponed due to the pandemic.

Login details for the community meeting will be posted on the City calendar later in November at beverlyhills.org. In the meantime, the public is invited to save the date.
