ART Conference Announces 2022 Community Service Project

Charlotte, NC – The ART 2022 Conference Committee has announced that the recipient of the annual service project will be Alpha Home. Alpha Home will be ART’s seventh service project in the host city and will be held at the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, TX, May 12-15, 2022.

Alpha Home, Inc. is an addiction treatment center in San Antonio, TX that has been transforming lives for over 55 years. In 1966, Alpha Home began offering residential addiction treatment to WOMEN only (18 and older), and to this day it is the only program of its kind in the area. The residential facility that ART will work on houses up to 31 women at a time. Their vision is to provide a community in which recovery is always possible. The organization offers clients compassion, integrity, respect, spirituality and inclusiveness to help them on their journey to recovery.

Conference volunteers will work on the residential installation to refresh existing bedrooms, common areas and outdoor gathering spaces. Home industry companies will be asked to donate furniture to be installed to improve the property or to replace damaged goods.
